'Giving it up for...!' Lent Campaign

The children at St Matia Mulumba School love to read, but they have few books which would stimulate their imagination, awaken their curiosity and increase their knowledge of the wider world.
Please join our ‘Giving it up for Lent’ campaign, beginning on 17th February and help to raise funds for a library in their school, so that these children have the access to books our children in the UK take so much for granted.
During Lent, as we reflect on the fact that Jesus gave up his life for each one of us, why not choose something you will give up during this 6 week period.
Then donate the money you save to our campaign, so that these children have the opportunity to experience a bright, cheerful and stimulating place, where they can both study and relax.
We would love to hear what you are planning to do for our campaign during Lent, with any photos you may like to send us and let’s encourage one another as we seek to improve the lives of these children.
