At EVC Uganda, we try to ensure that you, our Sponsors and Donors, feel that we are as attentive to your needs, wishes and welfare as we are toward those of the Children that your generosity supports.
One of the improvements that we wanted to make in our communications with you was to hold face to face meetings with groups of donors and sponsors in places that are convenient to you. We were unfortunately delayed in launching this initiative by the arrival of COVID.
Nevertheless, we worked behind the scenes to create an exhibition of stories about the Charity, the Schools, the Children and our Projects to share with you the impact that your donations have upon the lives of the children in Masaka.
On the evening of October 27th 2021, we were excited to be able to meet with a group of our sponsors at The Church of the Sacred Heart at Leighton Buzzard.
Over the course of the evening, we were able to explore with them in some detail, the journey that we have been on with the children in Masaka. Bringing them from their lives in the villages into schools, providing equipment and facilities in the schools, building classrooms, dormitories and toilets and providing them with a secure source of water to maintain their personal hygiene and health. Finally, sponsors were able to see the success that some of our students have made of their lives because they were able to access Education with your help.
While our group of sponsors knew each other through their membership of the church, they were unaware of the fact that they shared a mutual interest in the children of Masaka. Our meeting brought them together and they realised that by continuing to work together, they might be able to have a greater impact on the lives of the children they sponsor. We are looking forward to working with them to support their efforts.

This program will continue into 2023 to ensure that we give all of our sponsors and donors an opportunity to meet and to hear up to date news about our work
We would like to do more, but the Trustees are also busy visiting church groups all over the country to share our story and invite new sponsors to join our efforts.
