Friday 1st |
Give thanks for Phil and Gordon’s help with church appeals. |
Saturday 2nd |
Pray for safety as they make the long journey to Taunton today for an appeal at the Catholic churches of St George’s and St Teresa’s and pray for Phil as she speaks. |
Sunday 3rd |
Costs of education in Uganda are set to rise. Pray for the Board of Trustees as they consider how to meet these rising costs. |
Monday 4th |
Give thanks for the grant from SPICMA to fund sewing machines and classroom furniture for the new building at St Matia Mulumba. |
Tuesday 5th |
Pray for a good atmosphere of loving concern and care in our schools |
Wednesday 6th |
Give thanks for all the work carried out by Gonzaga, Margaret and Prossy during lockdown, particularly in keeping in close contact with our children. |
Thursday 7th |
Give thanks that so few children dropped out of school during lockdown and give thanks for all those who returned. |
Friday 8th |
Give thanks for the agreement of Wilmslow Wells to transfer the underspend on the new toilet block to purchasing the 6th water harvesting tank. |
Saturday 9th |
Pray for the Donor Care Evening taking place in Bedford tonight and for Andy as he leads this. |
Sunday 10th |
Pray for stamina and good health for Father Boniface, particularly during these busy seasons of Lent and Easter. |
Monday 11th |
Pray for Ramon and the website team as they work on keeping the site up to date and posting information to social media. |
Tuesday 12th |
Pray that the request for library books from BookAid International will be successful. |
Wednesday 13th |
Pray for Gonzaga, Prossy and Margaret as they administer the work in Uganda. |
Thursday 14th |
Pray for those few children who have chosen not to return to school this term, that the education they have received will enable them to better get a job. |
Friday 15th - Good Friday |
You emptied Yourself, taking the form of a servant, sacrificing Your only Son for our sake.’ Receive our thanks. |
Saturday 16th |
Pray for the governance visit taking place from the last week in June, particularly that the travel details for the five people visiting will dovetail together. |

Alleluia. He is risen. He is risen indeed. Alleluia. |
Monday 18th |
Give thanks for the generosity of all our donors. |
Tuesday 19th |
Continue to pray for the parents of children in Uganda to understand the importance of education for their children. |
Wednesday 20th |
Pray for the examination classes remaining in school during the Easter holidays, that they will concentrate and study well. |
Thursday 21st |
Pray for our Trustee, Yinka, as he researches the possibility of developing a trading arm for EVC. |
Friday 22nd |
Pray for safety for Ted and Judi as they travel to Chester today for a church appeal. |
Saturday 23rd |
Pray for Judi as she speaks. |
Sunday 24th |
Pray for new sponsors as a result of this month’s church appeals. |
Monday 25th |
Pray that Jesus will continue to be at the centre of all we do. |

Pray for right decision making as we consider how to provide school needs for children whose parents cannot provide these. |
Wednesday 27th |
Pray for the new headteacher at St Matia Mulumba, as he works on the lists of new books and equipment the school needs. |
Thursday 28th |
Give thanks for how the work of EVC Uganda has developed over these past 7+ years and for all that the Lord has accomplished. |
Friday 29th |
Continue to pray that our children will be well taught and that each one will achieve his/her full potential. |
Saturday 30th |
Pray that God will provide the funds needed for future projects, particularly for the building of a new nursery department at St Matia Mulumba. |
