Sunday May 1st

Thank God for a successful Donor Care Meeting held on 9th April.

Monday May 2nd

Give thanks for all our donors and their faithful support.

Tuesday May 3rd

Pray for Judi and Ted on holiday from today- for rest and a time of recharging batteries.

Wed May 4th

As the children in Uganda return to school early this month, after Easter holidays, pray for a quick adjustment to being back in school.

Thursday May 5th

Pray for all the teaching staff in the two primary schools our children attend.

Friday May 6th

Give thanks for Gonzaga and for all she does to oversee the work in Uganda. Pray for stamina and, an ability to use time well, as her work load grows bigger.

Sat May 7th

Pray that the number of children sponsored from the UK will continue to increase.

Sunday May 8th

Jesca and Brenda are studying in university. Pray for an ability to understand and apply what they are learning.

Monday May 9th

Give thanks for Prossy who oversees the building and maintenance work at the projects - for her thoroughness and commitment to the work.

Tuesday May 10th

Pray for Father Boniface with his many responsibilities within the parish and for stamina in the midst of a very busy schedule.

Wed May 11th

Continue to ask the Lord that parents and guardians will grow in an understanding of the importance of education for their children.

Thurs May 12th

Denis, the new headteacher at St Matia Mulumba, has much to oversee. Pray for an ability to lead well and to give strong direction to his staff.

Friday May 13th

Pray for safety for Phil and Gordon as they travel tomorrow to an appeal in Thanet.

Sat May 14th

Pray for Phil as she speaks today and tomorrow.

Sunday May 15th

Pray that God will touch hearts this weekend and that He will continue to provide for the needs of the charity.

Monday May 16th

Pray for the governors of the two primary schools, that God will guide their decision making.

Tuesday May 17th

Give thanks for the commitment of Father Boniface, Gonzaga and Prossy to our work.

Wed May 18th

Pray for Ted and Gordon as they develop a strategy for approaching local businesses.

Thurs May 19th

Pray for Josephine, the headteacher at St Kizito Primary School.

Friday May 20th

Pray for all teaching staff in the secondary schools attended by our sponsored children.

Sat May 21st

Pray for the second Bedford Donor Care Meeting taking place this evening.

Sunday May 22nd

Continue to pray that St Matia Mulumba will receive library books through their application to Book Aid International.

Monday May 23rd

Pray for all sponsored children to be motivated in their studies and to work to achieve their full potential.

Tues May 24th

Give thanks for our Treasurer Neil, for his expertise and insight.

Wed May 25th

Next month Judi is speaking in assemblies to the children at St John Fisher Primary School in Perivale, West London. Pray for her as she prepares for this.

Thurs May 26th

Pray for the EVC Board Meeting taking place this coming Saturday, for Ted as he chairs this and for wise decision making directed by Jesus.

Friday May 27th

Pray for safety for Ted and Judi as they travel to an appeal in Whetstone on Saturday afternoon.

Sat May 28th

Pray that as Judi speaks today and tomorrow, God will touch the hearts of those who listen and that congregations will give generously.

Sunday May 29th

At the end of next month, Ted, Judi and Neil will be flying to Uganda for a governance visit. Pray for safety and good health and an ability to serve the community there.

Monday May 30th

As the charity grows, there is a continuing need for more resources to help cope with the workload. Pray that God will provide for this.

Tuesday May 31st

June is a very busy month for church appeals. Pray for stamina for Phil, Gordon Judi and Ted and that they will be able to pace themselves during this time.
