Wed 1st June

As there are church appeals each weekend in June pray for stamina for Phil, Gordon, Judi and Ted.

Thurs 2nd June

There is a staff change taking place in Uganda. Pray for energy for Gonzaga as she is working without an assistant at the present time.

Fri 3rd June

Judi is speaking in New Milton this weekend. Pray that the congregations will respond generously as they hear of the needs of the children.

Sat 4th June

Pray for a good team spirit among the staff in Uganda, that Gonzaga, Prossy and the new member of staff will work well together and support one another.

Sun 5th June

Give thanks for the Donor Care Meeting held on 21st May in Bedford and for the positive input from those sponsors who came.

Mon 6th June

Continue to pray for Denis, the new headteacher at St Matia Mulumba, that he will lead well and give good direction to his staff.

Tues 7th June

Pray for the staff in the schools to work hard to help children catch up on the work missed during lockdowns.

Wed 8th June

Pray for Prossy as she oversees the installation of the 6th water harvesting tank.

Thurs 9th June

Pray for the families of our children, many facing hardship after the pandemic and as costs in Uganda rise.

Fri 10th June

This weekend Judi and Ted are visiting Father Roy’s church in Chesham Bois to give an appeal. Pray for this time.

Sat 11th June

Pray for more new sponsors.

Sun 12th June

Thank God for the way he has blessed the work of EVC Uganda and for the way He has brought in much needed finance through the appeals.

Mon 13th June

Father Boniface has a very busy schedule. Pray that he will have energy and capacity for each new day.

Tues 14th June

Give thanks for the faithful support of our donors.

Wed 15th June

Pray for a positive attitude towards learning for each of our sponsored children.

Thurs 16th June

Pray for Gonzaga and Judi as the work load is much at the present time - that they will know the priorities and be able to organise and use their time well.

Fri 17th June

Tomorrow Phil and Gordon are travelling to Hailsham where Phil will speak. Pray for safety and for their time there.

Sat 18th June

Pray that the congregations in the church will respond positively to what they hear.

Sun 19th June

Pray that the parents of our sponsored children will grow in an understanding of the importance of education.

Mon 20th June

Pray that each sponsored child will involve themselves fully in the life of their school.

Tues 21st June

A new nursery is needed at St Matia Mulumba. Pray for Gordon as he oversees the initial planning for this.

Wed 22nd June

Much of our income is generated through church appeals. Pray that this year we will be able to diversify our income streams.

Thurs 23rd June

Judi, Ted and Neil fly to Uganda next Wednesday. Pray for safety and good health during this governance visit.

Fri 24th June

This weekend Phil and Gordon will be in Brighton. Pray for Phil as she speaks.

Sat 25th June

Pray for a happy and constructive  atmosphere for each of our children to learn in.

Sun 26th June

Give thanks for Father Michael, our new Ugandan Trustee, for his background and expertise in education.

Mon 27th June

Pray for the final preparations for the governance visit to Uganda.

Tues 28th June

Pray for Neil, our Treasurer, that during the visit to the projects he will be able to carry out a full financial audit.

Wed 29th June

Pray for the time in Uganda, that the remit which needs to be covered during the visit will be completed.

Thurs 30th June

Judi will be doing some teaching in the schools. Pray for a good relationship with the children and an ability to pitch the work at the right standard.
