Pray for Father Boniface as he prepares to move to Kenya for a time, to take a course in healing and counselling.

There are many demands on the EVC finances. Pray for the EVC Board as they consider these and that right decisions will be taken as they seek to prioritise the needs.

Pray for Judi as she speaks today and tomorrow in New Southgate, North London.

Pray that there will be members of the congregations who will take out child sponsorship.

Mon 5th Sept

Pray for the children, now back in school after the holidays, that they will quickly adjust to being back and concentrate well on their lessons.

Tues 6th Sept

Some children are new to school this term. Pray that they will enjoy this new situation and quickly feel at home.

Wed 7th Sept

Continue to pray for the teachers in the two primary schools, that they will have creative ideas of how to present material and prepare lessons well.

Thurs 8th Sept

Pray for Denis, headteacher at St Matia Mulumba as he works with his staff, the Board of Governors, the parents and the EVC Committee to develop a 3-5 year Business Plan.

Fri 9th Sept

Janet, our newest member of staff, needs to find a place to live. Pray that the right property will become available for her soon.

Sat 10th Sept

Today there is a Donor Care Evening in Blandford Forum, Dorset. Pray for Andy as he leads this and that those who attend will gain a clear understanding of what has been achieved.

Sun 11th Sept

Pray for the Staff team in Uganda, Gonzaga, Prossy and Janet, that they will work well together and encourage and support one another in the work.

Mon 12th Sept

Our Gift Aid Secretary, Mia, suffered a stroke in June. Please pray for her as she recuperates, that her mobility and speech will continue to improve.

Tues 13th Sept

Continue to pray for parents in the area of our two primary schools, that they will grow in an understanding of the importance of education for their children.

Wed 14th Sept

Brenda, Jesca and Praxeda are studying in university. Pray for understanding of things taught and good success in their studies.

Thurs 15th Sept

As the staff at St Matia Mulumba seek to raise funds for a new dining room and kitchen, pray they will have good ideas for ways to fund raise.

Fri 16th Sept

Pray for all Primary 7 children working towards the Primary Leaving Exams to be held later this term and for those sitting GCSE and A level exams.

Sat 17th Sept

Today Judi and Ted are in Stamford for a church appeal. Pray that the congregations will respond positively and give generously.

Sun 18th Sept

Pray for Gonzaga` as she has a new role as Head of Operations for EVC Uganda.

Mon 19th Sept

Pray for our Trustee Yinka, as he researches the viability of developing a Trading arm of the charity.

Tues 20th sept

This evening there is a Donor Care Meeting in Chichester. Pray for safe journeys for those travelling and for a good and positive discussion.

Wed 21st Sept

There are many needs at the projects. Pray that the Lord would continue to provide the finances needed to develop the primary school sites further.

Thurs 22nd Sept

This evening there is a meeting of the Fundraising and Marketing Committee. As it is now possible to meet together again, pray for creative ideas of fundraising events which could be held.

Fri 23rd Sept

There is a need for more volunteers to help with different aspects of the work in the UK. Pray that the Lord would lead us to people who have time available and the skills which are necessary.

Sat 24th Sept

This weekend Judi and Ted are in Caterham, Surrey for a church appeal. Pray for safety as they travel, and for the stamina needed in what is a very busy time.

Sun 25th Sept

Pray for Judi as she speaks and for a generous response from the oongregations. Also that interest in child sponsorship will translate into more children sponsored.

Mon 26th Sept

Ted is working on gaining opportunities for church appeals during 2023. Pray that as he speaks with priests he will meet with a positive response and be given definite dates for these.

Tues 27th Sept

As we seek to raise funds, pray that new streams of income will be able to be developed.

Wed 28th Sept

Pray for Gordon as he continues to put in bids to trusts and foundations in the UK, for help with funds for new projects.

Thurs 29th Sept

Give thanks for the tools given by Tools with a Mission, which are arriving in Uganda this month and, pray that they will be well used by the children at St Matia Mulumba.

Fri 30th Sept

Today Judi and Ted are travelling to Lancashire for a church appeal. Pray for safety on the roads and the energy needed to reach out in the various churches.
