St Matia Mulumba Primary School gets smart new internal roads and paths
A major project was undertaken during the recent Christmas and New Year holidays to install roads and paths within the school campus, finished off with neat and tidy painted kerb stones.
This will provide safe and dry surfaces for children walking between buildings and visiting vehicle traffic.
The school can now lay out proper gardens and green areas to achieve a pleasant and tranquil environment for study and leisure.
The school has come a long way in 10 years from when this area was an open field with no buildings of any kind. It now accommodates 450 children in the primary section. The new pre-school, when it opens this year, will cater for 100 pre-school children.
The staff and children are very proud of their smart new school which they consider to be the best in the area.
