Lockdown continues: Children are learning from home

The schools in Uganda have been closed for almost the whole time the UK has been in lockdown. Initially, the candidate classes were expected to return to school at the beginning of June, but the Ugandan president extended their lockdown and announced that the schools, for now, will remain closed.

Coronavirus in Uganda: Update on school closures

Due to the coronavirus being detected in Uganda recently, all schools have been closed down for at least a month in order to keep the children safe. This was a directive from the Ugandan government.
